A view from above

Full speed ahead

An unidentified PT boat churns over the open ocean in a stunning black and white photo that I recently discovered. The angle from which the photo was snapped captures the velocity of the boat as it powers its way over the water. With its bow slightly elevated and the stern almost shrouded by the wake it kicks up, the ferocious energy of the boat is conveyed beautifully in this image.

So that old saying really is true–“a picture is worth a thousand words.” In this case, I’d revise the number to ten thousand (at the very least).
