Frank Morris and Steve Stahley conferring on writing in Camp HILL, PA

Author & editor conferring in May of 2012

Frank the author and Steve the editor in May of 2012

During a visit to Uncle Frank and Aunt Helen earlier this year,  Frank and I had the opportunity to discuss writing, publishing, and editing.  We also spoke about the unfolding events in Burma (the nation now known as Myanmar) where Frank served in the US Army during WWII.  Through his writing and community connections, Frank has been part of a network of expatriate Burmese who now live in Central Pennsylvania.  Through his writing and advocacy, Frank has helped these folks to push for greater human rights and economic empowerment in their native land.  His long devotion to the people of Burma and their struggle for freedom have been extraordinary. What a hero and inspiration Frank has been to me over the course of my life; I am fortunate and blessed beyond measure.
